Blue Suede Shoes

Blue Suede ShoesBlue Suede Shoes: A Musical Revue of the 50s by R. Rex Stephenson with music arranged by Emily Rose Tucker In the spirit of last summer's hit revue, When the Lights Go On Again, the company creates a musical that will remind you of ducktails, poodle skirts, and peg pants. Arsenic & Old Lace

Arsenic & Old LaceArsenic and Old Lace by Joseph Kesselring One of the funniest farces ever, Arsenic and Old Lace combines young love, some decidedly off-beat thieves, an uncle who thinks he is Teddy Roosevelt, with two aunts whose highly unusual hobby will have your sides splitting with laughter. Join us for this fast-paced classic.

      Evening is July 11

Nunsense Jamboree

Nunsense JamboreeNunsense Jamboree by Dan Goggin Sister Mary Amnesia headlines a promotion show for her new album, “I Could’ve Gone to Nashville.” With hijinks reminiscent of “Laugh-In” or “Hee Haw,” this hilarious musical introduces a new nun and a priest along with most of the nuns from earlier productions. If you liked Nunsense or Nunsense II, you'll love this show. So bring your butter, ‘cause this show’s got the corn.

The Blue Ridge Dinner Theatre will ring in this Christmas season with The Littlest Shepherd: A Musical Retelling of the Birth of Christ by R. Rex Stephenson and music by Emily Rose Tucker.

You know the story. "And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us." Well, most of them went, but they left the littlest shepherd to watch the sheep. What happened then?

The characters the littlest shepherd meets, the obstacles he must overcome, and the gift he is determined to give to Jesus combine in a production that speaks to the glad Christmas message and does so in an uplifting, heart-warming, and, often, humorous way.
